What is a Wheelie Bar (“Willy Spider”)?
A wheelie bar — sometimes nicknamed a “Willy Spider” — is a metal frame attached to the rear of a motorcycle, typically mounted to the swingarm or subframe, with one or two small wheels or rollers at the end. It’s designed to prevent the motorcycle from flipping over while practicing wheelies.
